Hi, I'm Annelise, Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Michigan born and raised, I have been heavily involved in the arts all my life.  I am primarily a digital artist, but my favorite mediums are pen and ink and gouache paint. I draw much of my inspiration from the classic style of graphic novels and comics; I strive to mimic the same style in my personal work.

My work experience includes a student co-op position at Nexteer automotive for 3 years. While working with them, I worked with a small team of designers to produce presentations for both clients and intercommunication. I used a combination of filmography and animation to create engaging yet informative training material for new hires. Along with that responsibility, I worked on other projects that include icon and logo design, Powerpoint presentations, audio recording and editing, and print flyers, posters, and booklets. All this was accomplished while working closely with both my creative team and Nexteer's engineering experts to streamline dense technical documents into easy to understand material suitable for any knowledge level.

My passion for design lies in the importance of communication. Each project that comes my way I consider a unique opportunity that I am eager to face. I love the idea of a team from many diverse backgrounds coming together and being able to communicate effectively thanks to good, effective, design.
